交通安全知识的贫乏，交通安全意识的淡薄总是能让我们看到听到一幕幕血的教训：有的因开快车，而失去了宝贵的生命，有的因车祸而致伤至残，这悲剧既给他人带来不幸，也给自己，家人带来极大的痛苦。上学期，我校就因有的同学不注意安全，在上学路上发生交通事故。其后果小到影响了学习，大到送进了医院。据公安交通管理部门提供的调查统计资料表明，进入九十年代以来，全国每天至少有10多名学生在车轮下丧生，30多名学生因交通事故受重伤致残，相当于每天伤亡一个班的学生。

中小学生交通事故增多，一方面事因为车辆骤增、道路狭窄、交通环境复杂等诸多不利因素。另一方面，则是一部分学生交通安全意识不强，甚至缺少起码的交通安全意识，其交通行为既不愿，也不懂得受交通法规的约束，结果违章肇事。交通法规是人们行车、走路应共同遵守的法律规范。中小学生从小就应该学习和掌握交通安全常识，养成遵守交通法规的良好习惯，自觉培养对自己生命安全、家庭幸福的责任心。

那时，我上四年级，十分不懂事，妈妈忙着照顾刚满周岁的`小弟弟，我成了“自由兵”。晚上草草写完作业就和同学们出去玩，像假小子一样与同学“打成一片”，玩的不亦乐乎，每天都要等到九十点钟才回家，由于晚上睡眠不足，第二天我就像绵羊一样软绵绵的，无精打采。可是，一到晚上，我就像扑火的飞蛾，无所忌惮的又跟着去玩了。因此，我的成绩大大下滑，妈妈为此也打过我，但我还是死性不改。

细心的徐老师发现了我的变化，于是他便开始仔细的留意我。当老师发现我成绩下滑时，老师在我的作业本上写下了这样两个字：成绩。当作业本发下来时，我很后悔，回想自己成绩的下滑真的很大。可是，诱惑最终还是战胜了理智，我又去玩了。

终于，在一次期末考试后，我被老师叫去了办公室“喝茶”。其中有一句话，我现在还记忆犹新：“如果你再这样下去的话，你连高中都考不上。”这句话深深刺痛了我，并在我心中扎下了深根，一向自认为是好学生的我，内心十分脆弱，经不起任何批评。回到家后，我抱头痛哭。我内心的天使终于战胜了恶魔，我下定决心不再像以前那样疯玩，重新做回一个好学生
